47:1 พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์ที่มายังเยเรมีย์ผู้พยากรณ์ต่อสู้คนฟีลิสเตียก่อนที่ฟาโรห์โจมตีเมืองกาซา

Prophecy against the Philistines and Tyre
47:1 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote Gaza.

47:2 “พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด น้ำทั้งหลายขึ้นมาจากทางทิศเหนือ และจะเป็นน้ำท่วมท้น และจะท่วมแผ่นดินและสิ่งสารพัดที่อยู่ในนั้น ทั้งกรุงและคนทั้งหลายที่อาศัยอยู่ในนั้น แล้วพวกผู้ชายจะร้องให้ และบรรดาชาวแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้นจะคร่ำครวญ

47:2 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl.

47:3 เมื่อได้ยินเสียงของการกระทืบกีบของบรรดาม้าที่แข็งแกร่งของเขา เมื่อได้ยินเสียงของการรีบเร่งของรถม้าศึกทั้งหลายของเขา และเมื่อได้ยินเสียงวิ่งกระหึ่มของบรรดาล้อรถของเขา บิดาทั้งหลายก็จะไม่หันกลับมาดูลูกทั้งหลายของตน เพราะความอ่อนเปลี้ยของมือทั้งหลาย

47:3 At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong horses, at the rushing of his chariots, and at the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look back to their children for feebleness of hands;

47:4 เพราะเหตุวันที่จะมาถึงเพื่อจะปล้นคนฟีลิสเตียทั้งสิ้น และเพื่อจะตัดผู้ช่วยเหลือทุกคนที่ยังเหลืออยู่ออกจากเมืองไทระและเมืองไซดอน เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงปล้นคนฟีลิสเตีย คือคนที่เหลืออยู่ของแผ่นดินคัฟโทร์นั้น

47:4 Because of the day that cometh to spoil all the Philistines, and to cut off from Tyrus and Zidon every helper that remaineth: for the LORD will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Caphtor.

47:5 ความล้านเลี่ยนมาถึงเมืองกาซา เมืองอัชเคโลนก็ถูกตัดออกพร้อมกับคนที่เหลืออยู่แห่งหุบเขาของพวกเขา เจ้าจะเชือดเนื้อเถือหนังของเจ้าอีกนานเท่าใด

47:5 Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?

47:6 โอ เจ้า ดาบของพระเยโฮวาห์เอ๋ย อีกนานเท่าไรเจ้าจึงจะสงบ จงสอดตัวเจ้าเองเข้าไว้ในฝักเสียเถิด จงหยุดพักและอยู่นิ่ง ๆ เสียที

47:6 O thou sword of the LORD, how long will it be ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still.

47:7 มันจะสงบได้อย่างไรเล่า เมื่อเห็นว่าพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ทรงกำชับมันให้ต่อสู้กับอัชเคโลน และต่อสู้กับชายทะเลแล้ว พระองค์ทรงบัญชามันไว้ที่นั่น”

47:7 How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there hath he appointed it.
