คริสเตียนเป็นจดหมายของพระคริสต์
3:1 พวกเราต้องตั้งต้นใหม่ในการแนะนำพวกเราเองอีกหรือ หรือว่าพวกเราต้องการจดหมายทั้งหลายแห่งการแนะนำตัวให้แก่พวกท่านเหมือนอย่างคนอื่น ๆ บางคนหรือ หรือจดหมายทั้งหลายแห่งการแนะนำจากพวกท่านหรือ

Christians Are the Epistle of Christ
3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?

3:2 พวกท่านเองเป็นจดหมายของพวกเราที่จารึกไว้ที่ดวงใจทั้งหลายของพวกเรา ซึ่งเป็นที่รู้จักและที่ถูกอ่านโดยคนทั้งปวง

3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

3:3 เพราะว่าพวกท่านถูกประกาศอย่างชัดแจ้งว่าเป็นจดหมายของพระคริสต์ซึ่งได้รับการรับใช้โดยพวกเรา ที่ถูกเขียนไว้ มิใช่ด้วยน้ำหมึก แต่ด้วยพระวิญญาณของพระเจ้าผู้ทรงพระชนม์อยู่ มิใช่ในแผ่นศิลาทั้งหลาย แต่ในบรรดาแผ่นเนื้อหนังแห่งดวงใจ

3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

3:4 และความไว้วางใจเช่นนี้พวกเรามีโดยทางพระคริสต์ต่อพระเจ้า

3:4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:

3:5 มิใช่ว่าพวกเรามีความพอเพียงในพวกเราเองที่จะคิดสิ่งหนึ่งสิ่งใดว่ามาจากพวกเราเอง แต่ความพอเพียงของพวกเรานั้นเป็นมาจากพระเจ้า

3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

3:6 ผู้ซึ่งทรงกระทำให้พวกเราเป็นพวกผู้ปรนนิบัติที่สามารถแห่งพันธสัญญาใหม่ มิใช่ของตัวอักษร แต่ของพระวิญญาณ ด้วยว่าตัวอักษรนั้นประหารให้ตาย แต่พระวิญญาณนั้นประทานชีวิต

Ministries of Christ and Moses Compared
3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

3:7 แต่ถ้าการปรนนิบัติแห่งความตาย ที่ได้เขียนและจารึกไว้ที่แผ่นศิลาทั้งหลายนั้น เปี่ยมสง่าราศี จนลูกหลานของอิสราเอลไม่สามารถเพ่งมองใบหน้าของโมเสสได้เพราะเหตุสง่าราศีแห่งสีหน้าของท่าน ซึ่งสง่าราศีนั้นจะถูกล้มเลิกไป

3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

3:8 ดังนั้นการปรนนิบัติแห่งพระวิญญาณจะไม่เปี่ยมสง่าราศียิ่งกว่านั้นอีกหรือ

3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

3:9 เพราะว่าถ้าการปรนนิบัติแห่งการปรับโทษมีสง่าราศี การปรนนิบัติแห่งความชอบธรรมก็ยิ่งมีสง่าราศีมากกว่านั้นอีก

3:9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

3:10 ด้วยว่าแม้แต่สิ่งซึ่งได้ถูกทำให้เปี่ยมสง่าราศี ก็ไม่มีสง่าราศีในแง่นี้ โดยเหตุผลแห่งสง่าราศีที่ยิ่งใหญ่กว่า

3:10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

3:11 เพราะถ้าสิ่งซึ่งเสื่อมสูญไปนั้นยังเปี่ยมสง่าราศี สิ่งซึ่งจะดำรงอยู่ก็จะเปี่ยมสง่าราศีมากยิ่งกว่านั้นอีก

3:11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

3:12 ดังนั้นโดยเห็นว่าพวกเรามีความหวังอย่างนั้นแล้ว พวกเราจึงใช้ความชัดเจนมากในการพูด

3:12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

3:13 และไม่เหมือนโมเสส ซึ่งเอาผ้าคลุมหน้าบังหน้าของท่าน เพื่อลูกหลานของอิสราเอลจะไม่สามารถเพ่งดูบั้นปลายของสิ่งซึ่งถูกล้มเลิกนั้น

3:13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

3:14 แต่จิตใจของพวกเขาได้ถูกบังไว้ เพราะจนถึงทุกวันนี้ ผ้าคลุมหน้าอันเดียวกันนั้นยังไม่ถูกเอาออกไปในการอ่านพันธสัญญาเดิม ซึ่งผ้าคลุมหน้านั้นได้ถูกล้มเลิกไปแล้วในพระคริสต์

3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

3:15 แม้แต่จนถึงทุกวันนี้ เมื่อคำของโมเสสถูกอ่าน ผ้าคลุมหน้านั้นก็ยังปิดบังใจของพวกเขาอยู่

3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

3:16 แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม เมื่อใจนั้นจะหันมาหาองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ผ้าคลุมหน้านั้นก็จะถูกเอาออกไป

3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

3:17 บัดนี้องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงเป็นพระวิญญาณนั้น และพระวิญญาณขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงอยู่ที่ไหน เสรีภาพก็มีอยู่ที่นั่น

3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

3:18 แต่พวกเราทุกคน โดยไม่มีผ้าคลุมหน้าแล้ว เหมือนอย่างดูในกระจกเงาซึ่งกำลังมองดูสง่าราศีขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า กำลังถูกเปลี่ยนแปลงให้เป็นตามพระฉายอันเดียวกันจากสง่าราศีไปสู่สง่าราศี คือโดยพระวิญญาณขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า

3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
