ยอห์นได้รับหนังสือม้วนเล็ก ๆ ม้วนหนึ่ง
10:1 และข้าพเจ้าได้เห็นทูตสวรรค์ที่มีฤทธิ์มากอีกองค์หนึ่งลงมาจากสวรรค์ นุ่งห่มกายด้วยเมฆ และมีรุ้งอยู่บนศีรษะของท่าน และหน้าของท่านเป็นเหมือนดวงอาทิตย์ และเท้าของท่านเป็นเหมือนพวกเสาแห่งไฟ

John Given a Little Book
10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

10:2 และท่านถือหนังสือเล็ก ๆ ม้วนหนึ่งซึ่งคลี่อยู่ในมือของท่าน และท่านวางเท้าขวาของท่านบนทะเล และเท้าซ้ายของท่านบนบก

10:2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

10:3 และท่านร้องเสียงดัง เหมือนเสียงเมื่อสิงโตคำราม และเมื่อท่านร้องแล้ว เสียงฟ้าร้องเจ็ดเสียงได้เปล่งเสียงของพวกมัน

10:3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

10:4 และเมื่อเสียงฟ้าร้องทั้งเจ็ดได้เปล่งเสียงของพวกมันแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าก็จวนจะลงมือเขียน และข้าพเจ้าได้ยินพระสุรเสียงจากสวรรค์ตรัสแก่ข้าพเจ้าว่า “จงประทับตราปิดสิ่งเหล่านั้นซึ่งฟ้าร้องทั้งเจ็ดได้เปล่งเสียงนั้น และอย่าเขียนสิ่งเหล่านั้นเลย”

10:4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

10:5 และทูตสวรรค์องค์ซึ่งข้าพเจ้าได้เห็นยืนอยู่บนทะเลและบนบกนั้นได้ชูมือของท่านขึ้นสู่ท้องฟ้าอากาศ

10:5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

10:6 และปฏิญาณโดยอ้างพระองค์ผู้ทรงพระชนม์อยู่เป็นนิตย์และเป็นนิตย์ ผู้ได้ ‘ทรงสร้างฟ้าสวรรค์ และสรรพสิ่งที่มีอยู่ในฟ้าสวรรค์นั้น และแผ่นดินโลก และสรรพสิ่งซึ่งมีอยู่ในแผ่นดินโลกนั้น และทะเล และสรรพสิ่งซึ่งมีอยู่ในทะเลนั้น’ ว่า จะไม่มีการเนิ่นช้าอีกต่อไปแล้ว

10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

10:7 แต่ในวันเวลาแห่งเสียงของทูตสวรรค์องค์ที่เจ็ดนั้น เมื่อท่านจะเริ่มเป่าแตรขึ้น ความลึกลับของพระเจ้าก็จะสำเร็จ ตามที่พระองค์ได้ประกาศไว้แก่พวกศาสดาพยากรณ์ พวกผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์นั้น

10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

10:8 และพระสุรเสียงซึ่งข้าพเจ้าได้ยินจากสวรรค์นั้นตรัสกับข้าพเจ้าอีก และตรัสว่า “จงไปและรับหนังสือเล็ก ๆ ม้วนนั้นซึ่งคลี่อยู่ในมือของทูตสวรรค์องค์ซึ่งยืนอยู่บนทะเลและบนบกนั้น”

10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.

10:9 และข้าพเจ้าได้ไปหาทูตสวรรค์องค์นั้นและกล่าวแก่ท่านว่า “ขอให้หนังสือม้วนเล็กนั้นแก่ข้าพเจ้าเถิด” และท่านได้กล่าวแก่ข้าพเจ้าว่า “จงเอามันไปเถิด และกินมันเสีย และมันจะทำให้ท้องของเจ้าขม แต่ในปากของเจ้า มันจะหวานเหมือนน้ำผึ้ง”

10:9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

10:10 และข้าพเจ้ารับหนังสือม้วนเล็กนั้นจากมือของทูตสวรรค์ และกินมันเข้าไป และในปากของข้าพเจ้า มันก็หวานเหมือนน้ำผึ้ง และทันทีที่ข้าพเจ้าได้กินมันเข้าไปแล้ว ท้องของข้าพเจ้าก็ขม

10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

10:11 และท่านกล่าวแก่ข้าพเจ้าว่า “เจ้าต้องพยากรณ์อีก ต่อหน้าชนชาติทั้งหลาย และบรรดาประชาชาติ และภาษาทั้งปวง และกษัตริย์ทั้งหลาย”

10:11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
