การเทศนาเป็นมาโดยฤทธิ์เดชแห่งพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์
2:1 พี่น้องทั้งหลาย เมื่อข้าพเจ้ามาหาท่าน ข้าพเจ้ามิได้มาเพื่อประกาศสักขีพยานของพระเจ้าแก่ท่านทั้งหลาย ด้วยถ้อยคำอันไพเราะหรือด้วยสติปัญญา

Preaching Was in Holy Spirit Power
2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

2:2 เพราะข้าพเจ้าตั้งใจว่าจะไม่แสดงความรู้เรื่องใดๆในหมู่พวกท่านเลยเว้นแต่เรื่องพระเยซูคริสต์ และการที่พระองค์ทรงถูกตรึงที่กางเขน

2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

2:3 และเมื่อข้าพเจ้าอยู่กับท่านทั้งหลาย ข้าพเจ้าก็อ่อนกำลัง มีความกลัวและตัวสั่นเป็นอันมาก

2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

2:4 คำพูดและคำเทศนาของข้าพเจ้า ไม่ใช่คำที่เกลี้ยกล่อมด้วยสติปัญญาของมนุษย์ แต่เป็นคำซึ่งได้แสดงพระวิญญาณและพระเดชานุภาพ

2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

2:5 เพื่อความเชื่อของท่านจะไม่ได้อาศัยสติปัญญาของมนุษย์ แต่อาศัยฤทธิ์เดชของพระเจ้า

2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

2:6 เรากล่าวถึงเรื่องปัญญาในหมู่คนที่เป็นผู้ใหญ่แล้วก็จริง แต่มิใช่เรื่องปัญญาของโลกนี้ หรือเรื่องปัญญาของอำนาจครอบครองในโลกนี้ซึ่งจะเสื่อมสูญไป

2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

2:7 แต่เรากล่าวถึงเรื่องพระปัญญาของพระเจ้าซึ่งเป็นข้อลึกลับ คือพระปัญญาซึ่งทรงซ่อนไว้นั้น ซึ่งพระเจ้าได้ทรงกำหนดไว้ก่อนสร้างโลกให้เป็นสง่าราศีแก่เรา

2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

2:8 ไม่มีอำนาจครอบครองใดๆในโลกนี้ได้รู้จักพระปัญญานั้น เพราะว่าถ้ารู้แล้วจะมิได้เอาองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งสง่าราศีตรึงไว้ที่กางเขน

2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

พระดำรัสของพระเจ้ามาจากพระองค์โดยตรง
2:9 ดังที่มีเขียนไว้แล้วว่า ‘สิ่งที่ตาไม่เห็น หูไม่ได้ยิน และไม่เคยได้เข้าไปในใจมนุษย์ คือสิ่งที่พระเจ้าได้ทรงจัดเตรียมไว้สำหรับคนที่รักพระองค์’

God's Word Comes Directly from Him
2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

2:10 พระเจ้าได้ทรงสำแดงสิ่งเหล่านั้นแก่เราทางพระวิญญาณของพระองค์ เพราะว่าพระวิญญาณทรงหยั่งรู้ทุกสิ่ง แม้เป็นความล้ำลึกของพระเจ้า

2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

2:11 อันความคิดของมนุษย์นั้นไม่มีผู้ใดหยั่งรู้ได้ เว้นแต่จิตวิญญาณของมนุษย์ผู้นั้นเองฉันใด พระดำริของพระเจ้าก็ไม่มีใครหยั่งรู้ได้ เว้นแต่พระวิญญาณของพระเจ้าฉันนั้น

2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

2:12 เราทั้งหลายจึงไม่ได้รับวิญญาณของโลก แต่ได้รับพระวิญญาณซึ่งมาจากพระเจ้า เพื่อเราทั้งหลายจะได้รู้ถึงสิ่งต่างๆที่พระเจ้าได้ทรงโปรดประทานแก่เรา

2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

2:13 คือสิ่งเหล่านั้นที่เราได้กล่าวด้วยถ้อยคำซึ่งมิใช่ปัญญาของมนุษย์สอนไว้ แต่ด้วยถ้อยคำซึ่งพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ได้ทรงสั่งสอน ซึ่งเปรียบเทียบสิ่งที่อยู่ฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณกับสิ่งซึ่งเป็นของจิตวิญญาณ

2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

2:14 แต่มนุษย์ธรรมดาจะรับสิ่งเหล่านั้นซึ่งเป็นของพระวิญญาณแห่งพระเจ้าไม่ได้ เพราะเขาเห็นว่าเป็นสิ่งโง่เขลา และเขาไม่สามารถเข้าใจได้ เพราะว่าจะเข้าใจสิ่งเหล่านั้นได้ก็ต้องสังเกตด้วยจิตวิญญาณ

2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

2:15 แต่มนุษย์ฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณสังเกตสิ่งสารพัดได้ แต่ไม่มีผู้ใดจะรู้จักใจคนนั้นได้

2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

2:16 เพราะว่า ‘ใครเล่ารู้จักพระทัยขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเพื่อจะแนะนำสั่งสอนพระองค์ได้’ แต่เราก็มีพระทัยของพระคริสต์

2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
