เศคาริยาห์ 7 / Zechariah 7

ทรงติเตียนการอดอาหารที่ไม่จริงใจ
7:1 ต่อมาในปีที่สี่ของรัชกาลกษัตริย์ดาริอัส พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังเศคาริยาห์ ณ วันที่สี่เดือนที่เก้า ซึ่งเป็นเดือนคิสลิว

Formal and Insincere Fasting Are Reproved
7:1 And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

7:2 เมื่อพวกเขาได้ใช้ให้ชาเรเซอร์และเรเกมเมเลค พร้อมกับพรรคพวกของเขา ไปยังพระนิเวศของพระเจ้า ทูลขอจำเพาะพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์

7:2 When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the LORD,

7:3 และร้องขอต่อบรรดาปุโรหิตที่พระนิเวศแห่งพระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธา และต่อผู้พยากรณ์ว่า “ควรที่ข้าพเจ้าจะไว้ทุกข์และปลีกตัวออกในเดือนที่ห้า อย่างที่ข้าพเจ้าได้กระทำมาแล้วเป็นหลายปีนั้นหรือไม่”

7:3 And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

7:4 แล้วพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธามายังข้าพเจ้าว่า

7:4 Then came the word of the LORD of hosts unto me, saying,

7:5 “จงกล่าวแก่ประชาชนทั้งสิ้นแห่งแผ่นดินและแก่บรรดาปุโรหิตว่า เมื่อเจ้าทั้งหลายอดอาหารและไว้ทุกข์ในเดือนที่ห้าและในเดือนที่เจ็ด ตั้งเจ็ดสิบปีนั้น เจ้าได้อดอาหารเพื่อเราคือเราเองหรือ

7:5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

7:6 และเมื่อเจ้ารับประทานและเมื่อเจ้าดื่ม เจ้าก็รับประทานเพื่อตัวเจ้าเอง และดื่มเพื่อตัวเจ้าเองมิใช่หรือ

7:6 And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

7:7 ในเมื่อเยรูซาเล็มมีคนอยู่และมั่งคั่ง มีหัวเมืองล้อมรอบ ภาคใต้และแดนที่ราบก็มีคนอยู่ เจ้าควรจะฟังพระวจนะซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงประกาศโดยผู้พยากรณ์รุ่นก่อนๆ มิใช่หรือ”

7:7 Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

จงแสวงหาพระเจ้า ความชอบธรรมและความปรานี
7:8 และพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มาถึงเศคาริยาห์ว่า

Righteousness, Compassion and Seeking God Are Required
7:8 And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying,

7:9 “พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาตรัสดังนี้ว่า จงพิพากษาตามความจริง ทุกคนจงแสดงความเมตตากรุณาและความสงสารต่อพี่น้องของตน

7:9 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

7:10 อย่าบีบบังคับหญิงม่าย ลูกกำพร้าพ่อ คนต่างด้าวหรือคนยากจน และอย่าคิดอุบายชั่วในใจต่อพี่น้องของตน”

7:10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

7:11 แต่เขาปฏิเสธไม่ยอมฟังและหันบ่าดื้อเข้าใส่ และอุดหูของเขาเสียเพื่อเขาจะไม่ได้ยิน

7:11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

7:12 เออ เขาได้กระทำใจของเขาเหมือนก้อนหินแข็ง เกรงว่าเขาจะได้ยินพระราชบัญญัติและพระวจนะ ซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาได้ทรงส่งไปทางผู้พยากรณ์รุ่นก่อนโดยพระวิญญาณของพระองค์ เหตุฉะนั้นพระพิโรธอันยิ่งใหญ่จึงได้มาจากพระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธา

7:12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

7:13 ดังนั้นต่อมาพระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาตรัสว่า “เมื่อเราร้องเรียก เขาไม่ฟังฉันใด เมื่อเขาร้องทูล เราก็ไม่ฟังฉันนั้น

7:13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:

7:14 และเราก็ให้เขากระจัดกระจายไปด้วยลมหมุนท่ามกลางประชาชาติทั้งสิ้นซึ่งเขาไม่รู้จัก ดังนั้นแผ่นดินจึงรกร้างอยู่เบื้องหลังเขา ไม่มีใครผ่านไปหรือกลับเข้าไป เพราะเขาได้ปล่อยให้แผ่นดินที่น่าพึงพอใจนั้นรกร้างไปเสียแล้ว”

7:14 But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.
