45:1 จิตใจข้าพเจ้าล้นไหลด้วยแนวคิดดี ข้าพเจ้าเล่าบทประพันธ์ของข้าพเจ้าถวายกษัตริย์ ลิ้นของข้าพเจ้าเหมือนปากกาของอาลักษณ์ที่ชำนาญ

Majesty and Grace of the Kingdom of Christ
To the chief musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, A Maschil, A song of loves
45:1 My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

45:2 พระองค์ท่านงามเลิศยิ่งกว่าบุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์ พระคุณหลั่งลงบนริมฝีปากของพระองค์ท่าน เพราะฉะนั้นพระเจ้าทรงอำนวยพระพรพระองค์ท่านตลอดกาล

45:2 Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.

45:3 โอ ข้าแต่องค์ผู้ทรงมหิทธิฤทธิ์ ขอทรงขัดดาบไว้ที่เอวของพระองค์ท่าน โดยสง่าราศีและความสูงส่งของพระองค์ท่าน

45:3 Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.

45:4 ขอทรงม้าอย่างโอ่อ่าตระการเสด็จไปอย่างมีชัย เพื่อเห็นแก่ความจริง ความอ่อนสุภาพและความชอบธรรม ให้พระหัตถ์ขวาของพระองค์ท่านสอนกิจอันน่าครั่นคร้ามแก่พระองค์ท่าน

45:4 And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

45:5 ลูกธนูของพระองค์ท่านก็คมอยู่ในจิตใจของศัตรูของกษัตริย์ ชนชาติทั้งหลายจึงล้มอยู่ใต้พระองค์ท่าน

45:5 Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.

45:6 โอ พระเจ้าข้า พระที่นั่งของพระองค์ดำรงเป็นนิตย์และเป็นนิตย์ ธารพระกรแห่งอาณาจักรของพระองค์ก็เป็นธารพระกรเที่ยงธรรม

45:6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

45:7 พระองค์ทรงรักความชอบธรรมและทรงเกลียดชังความชั่วช้า ฉะนั้นพระเจ้าคือพระเจ้าของพระองค์ท่านได้ทรงเจิมพระองค์ท่านไว้ ด้วยน้ำมันแห่งความยินดียิ่งกว่าพระสหายทั้งปวงของพระองค์ท่าน

45:7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

45:8 บรรดาฉลองพระองค์ของพระองค์ท่านก็หอมฟุ้งไปด้วยกลิ่นมดยอบ กฤษณา และการบูรจากพระราชวังงาช้าง ฉลองพระองค์เหล่านี้กระทำให้พระองค์ท่านยินดี

45:8 All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.

45:9 ในหมู่สตรีผู้มีเกียรติของพระองค์ท่านมีราชธิดาของบรรดากษัตริย์ พระราชินีประดับทองคำเมืองโอฟีร์ประทับอยู่ข้างขวาพระหัตถ์พระองค์ท่าน

45:9 Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

45:10 โอ ธิดาเอ๋ย จงพิเคราะห์ ฟังและเอียงหูของเธอลง จงลืมชนชาติของเธอ และลืมบ้านบิดาของเธอเสีย

45:10 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;

45:11 และกษัตริย์จะทรงปรารถนาความงามของเธอ เนื่องจากพระองค์ท่านเป็นเจ้านายของเธอ จงโค้งลงให้พระองค์ท่านเถิด

45:11 So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.

45:12 ธิดาของเมืองไทระจะเอาของกำนัลมากำนัลเธอ คือเศรษฐีมั่งคั่งที่สุดของประชาชนจะขอความกรุณาจากเธอ

45:12 And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.

45:13 เจ้าหญิงประดับพระกายในห้องของพระนางเธอด้วยเสื้อผ้ายกทองคำ

45:13 The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

45:14 เขาจะนำพระนางผู้ทรงเสื้อหลายสีเข้าเฝ้ากษัตริย์ และจะนำหญิงพรหมจารีผู้ติดตามคือเพื่อนเจ้าสาวมาถวายพระองค์

45:14 She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

45:15 เขาทั้งหลายจะถูกนำไปด้วยความชื่นบานและยินดี เขาจะเข้าไปในพระราชวัง

45:15 With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.

45:16 บรรดาโอรสของพระองค์ท่านจะแทนบรรพบุรุษของพระองค์ท่าน พระองค์ท่านจะแต่งตั้งให้เป็นเจ้านายทั่วแผ่นดินโลกทั้งสิ้น

45:16 Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.

45:17 เราจะกระทำให้พระนามของพระองค์ท่านเป็นที่เชิดชูตลอดบรรดาชั่วอายุ ฉะนั้นชนชาติทั้งหลายจะสดุดีพระองค์ท่านเป็นนิจกาล

45:17 I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
