59:1 โอ ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ ขอทรงช่วยข้าพระองค์ให้พ้นจากศัตรูของข้าพระองค์ ขอทรงช่วยป้องกันข้าพระองค์ให้พ้นจากบรรดาผู้ที่ลุกขึ้นต่อสู้ข้าพระองค์

59:1 Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.

59:2 ขอทรงช่วยข้าพระองค์ให้พ้นจากผู้ที่ทำความชั่วร้าย และขอทรงช่วยข้าพระองค์ให้รอดจากคนกระหายเลือด

59:2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.

59:3 เพราะดูเถิด เขาซุ่มคอยเอาชีวิตข้าพระองค์ ผู้มีอำนาจร่วมหัวกันต่อสู้ข้าพระองค์ โอ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ มิใช่การละเมิดหรือบาปของข้าพระองค์เอง

59:3 For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.

59:4 เขาวิ่งไปเตรียมพร้อม มิใช่ความผิดของข้าพระองค์ ขอทรงกระปรี้กระเปร่า ขอทรงมาช่วยข้าพระองค์และทอดพระเนตร

59:4 They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.

59:5 โอ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าจอมโยธา พระองค์ทรงเป็นพระเจ้าของอิสราเอล ขอทรงตื่นขึ้นลงโทษบรรดาประชาชาติ ขออย่าทรงเมตตาผู้ละเมิดที่คิดร้ายแม้สักคนเดียว เซลาห์

59:5 Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.

59:6 เขากลับมาทุกเย็น หอนอย่างสุนัข และตระเวนไปทั่วนคร

59:6 They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

59:7 ดูเถิด ปากของเขายังพ่นอยู่ และมีดาบที่ริมฝีปากของเขา เพราะเขาคิดว่า “ใครจะฟังเรา”

59:7 Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?

59:8 โอ ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ แต่พระองค์ทรงหัวเราะเยาะเขา พระองค์ทรงเยาะเย้ยประชาชาติทั้งปวง

59:8 But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

59:9 เพราะเหตุพระกำลังของพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์จะคอยเฝ้าพระองค์ เพราะพระเจ้าทรงเป็นป้อมปราการของข้าพระองค์

59:9 Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.

59:10 พระเจ้าแห่งความเมตตาของข้าพเจ้าจะทรงป้องกันข้าพเจ้า พระเจ้าจะทรงให้ข้าพเจ้าเห็นความปรารถนาของข้าพเจ้าต่อพวกศัตรูของข้าพเจ้านั้นสำเร็จ

59:10 The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.

59:11 โอ ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า โล่ของข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลาย ขออย่าทรงสังหารเขาเสีย เกรงว่าชนชาติของข้าพระองค์จะลืม ขอให้เขาระหกระเหินไปด้วยฤทธานุภาพของพระองค์และทำให้เขาล้มลง

59:11 Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

59:12 เพราะบาปแห่งปากของเขา และเพราะถ้อยคำริมฝีปากของเขา ขอให้เขาติดกับโดยความเย่อหยิ่งของเขา เพราะการสาปแช่งและการมุสาซึ่งเขาเปล่งออกมานั้น

59:12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

59:13 ขอทรงเผาผลาญเขาเสียโดยพระพิโรธ ขอทรงเผาผลาญเขาจนเขาไม่เหลือเลย แล้วเขาจะทราบว่าพระเจ้าทรงปกครองเหนือยาโคบ ถึงที่สุดปลายแผ่นดินโลก เซลาห์

59:13 Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

59:14 ให้เขากลับมาทุกเย็น หอนอย่างสุนัข และตระเวนไปทั่วนคร

59:14 And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

59:15 ให้เขาเที่ยวไปหาอาหาร ถ้าไม่ได้กินอิ่มก็ขู่คำราม

59:15 Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.

59:16 แต่ข้าพระองค์จะร้องเพลงถึงอานุภาพของพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์จะร้องเพลงถึงความเมตตาของพระองค์ในเวลาเช้า เพราะพระองค์ทรงเป็นป้อมปราการของข้าพระองค์ เป็นที่ลี้ภัยในยามทุกข์ของข้าพระองค์

59:16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

59:17 โอ ข้าแต่พระกำลังของข้าพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์จะร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระองค์ เพราะพระเจ้าทรงเป็นป้อมปราการของข้าพระองค์ และทรงเป็นพระเจ้าแห่งความเมตตาของข้าพระองค์

59:17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
