63:1 โอ ข้าแต่พระเจ้า พระองค์ทรงเป็นพระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์แสวงหาพระองค์แต่เช้า จิตวิญญาณของข้าพระองค์กระหายหาพระองค์ เนื้อหนังของข้าพระองค์กระเสือกกระสนหาพระองค์ในดินแดนที่แห้งและกระหายน้ำ ที่ที่ไม่มีน้ำ

David's Thirst for God
A psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah
63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

63:2 เช่นนั้นแหละ ข้าพระองค์จึงเคยเห็นพระองค์ในสถานบริสุทธิ์ เห็นฤทธานุภาพและสง่าราศีของพระองค์

63:2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

63:3 เพราะว่าความเมตตาของพระองค์ดีกว่าชีวิต ริมฝีปากของข้าพระองค์จะสรรเสริญพระองค์

63:3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

63:4 เช่นนั้นแหละ ข้าพระองค์จะสรรเสริญพระองค์ตราบเท่าชีวิตของข้าพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์จะชูมือต่อพระนามของพระองค์

63:4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

63:5 จิตใจของข้าพระองค์จะอิ่มหนำดังกินไขกระดูกและไขมัน และปากของข้าพระองค์จะสรรเสริญพระองค์ด้วยริมฝีปากที่ชื่นบาน

63:5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

63:6 เมื่อข้าพระองค์คิดถึงพระองค์ขณะอยู่บนที่นอน และตรึกตรองถึงพระองค์ทุกๆยาม

63:6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

63:7 เพราะพระองค์ทรงเป็นความอุปถัมภ์ของข้าพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์จึงเปรมปรีดิ์อยู่ในร่มปีกของพระองค์

63:7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

63:8 จิตวิญญาณของข้าพระองค์เกาะติดอยู่ที่พระองค์ พระหัตถ์ขวาของพระองค์ชูข้าพระองค์ไว้

63:8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

ดาวิดมั่นใจว่าพวกศัตรูจะถูกทำลาย
63:9 แต่บรรดาผู้แสวงหาชีวิตของข้าพระองค์เพื่อทำลาย จะลงไปในที่ลึกแห่งแผ่นดินโลก

Confident of His Enemies' Destruction
63:9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

63:10 เขาจะล้มลงด้วยดาบ เขาจะเป็นเหยื่อของสุนัขจิ้งจอก

63:10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

63:11 แต่กษัตริย์จะทรงเปรมปรีดิ์ในพระเจ้า ทุกคนที่ปฏิญาณในพระนามของพระองค์จะอวดอ้างพระนามนั้น แต่ปากของคนมุสาจะถูกปิด

63:11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
