7:1 ดังนั้นกษัตริย์จึงเสด็จกับฮามานเข้าไปในการเลี้ยงกับพระราชินีเอสเธอร์

Queen Esther's Banquet for Two
7:1 So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen.

7:2 และกษัตริย์ตรัสกับเอสเธอร์อีกในวันที่สองที่การเลี้ยงเหล้าองุ่นว่า “คำร้องขอของพระนางคืออะไร พระราชินีเอสเธอร์ และจะให้สิ่งนั้นแก่พระนาง และคำทูลขอของพระนางคืออะไร และสิ่งนั้นก็จะสำเร็จ แม้จะถึงครึ่งราชอาณาจักร”

7:2 And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.

7:3 แล้วพระราชินีเอสเธอร์ทูลตอบและตรัสว่า “ถ้าหม่อมฉันเป็นที่โปรดปรานในสายพระเนตรของพระองค์ โอ ข้าแต่กษัตริย์ และถ้าเป็นที่พอพระทัยกษัตริย์ ขอพระราชทานชีวิตของหม่อมฉันให้แก่หม่อมฉันตามคำร้องขอของหม่อมฉัน และชนชาติของหม่อมฉันตามคำทูลขอของหม่อมฉัน

7:3 Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:

7:4 เพราะพวกเราถูกขาย ทั้งหม่อมฉันและชนชาติของหม่อมฉัน ให้ถูกทำลาย ให้ถูกสังหารและให้ถูกล้างผลาญ แต่ถ้าพวกเราถูกขายให้เป็นทาสชายและทาสหญิง หม่อมฉันก็จะสงบปากสงบคำเสีย ถึงแม้ว่าความทุกข์ยากจะเปรียบกับผลเสียหายของกษัตริย์นั้นก็ไม่ได้”

7:4 For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king's damage.

7:5 แล้วกษัตริย์อาหสุเอรัสทรงตอบและตรัสกับพระราชินีเอสเธอร์ว่า “ผู้นั้นคือใคร และผู้นั้นอยู่ที่ไหน ที่คิดในใจของตนว่าจะกระทำเช่นนี้”

7:5 Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?

7:6 และพระนางเอสเธอร์ทูลว่า “ปฏิปักษ์และศัตรูคือฮามานคนชั่วผู้นี้” แล้วฮามานก็กลัวอยู่ต่อพระพักตร์กษัตริย์และพระราชินี

7:6 And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

ฮามานถูกแขวนคอให้ตาย
7:7 และกษัตริย์ทรงลุกขึ้นจากการเลี้ยงเหล้าองุ่นในพระพิโรธของพระองค์ จึงเสด็จเข้าไปในราชอุทยาน และฮามานลุกขึ้นเพื่อทูลขอชีวิตของตนต่อพระราชินีเอสเธอร์ เพราะท่านเห็นว่ากษัตริย์ทรงตั้งพระทัยที่จะกระทำการร้ายต่อท่านแล้ว

Haman Hanged
7:7 And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.

7:8 แล้วกษัตริย์เสด็จกลับจากราชอุทยานเข้ามายังสถานที่แห่งการเลี้ยงเหล้าองุ่นนั้น และฮามานกราบลงบนแท่นบรรทมซึ่งพระนางเอสเธอร์ประทับอยู่นั้น แล้วกษัตริย์ตรัสว่า “เขาจะข่มขืนพระราชินีต่อหน้าต่อตาเราในบ้านด้วยหรือ” ขณะที่พระวาทะหลุดจากพระโอษฐ์กษัตริย์ พวกเขาก็คลุมหน้าของฮามาน

7:8 Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.

7:9 และฮารโบนา ขันทีคนหนึ่ง ทูลต่อพระพักตร์กษัตริย์ว่า “ดูเถิด ตะแลงแกง สูงห้าสิบศอก ซึ่งฮามานได้เตรียมไว้สำหรับโมรเดคัย ผู้ซึ่งได้รายงานดีเพื่อช่วยกษัตริย์ ก็ตั้งอยู่ที่บ้านของฮามานด้วย” แล้วกษัตริย์ตรัสว่า “แขวนมันบนนั้นแหละ”

7:9 And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.

7:10 ดังนั้นพวกเขาจึงแขวนฮามานบนตะแลงแกงที่ท่านได้เตรียมไว้สำหรับโมรเดคัย แล้วพระพิโรธของกษัตริย์ก็สงบลง

7:10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified.
