อาโรนและมิเรียมอิจฉาโมเสส
12:1 และมิเรียมกับอาโรนได้กล่าวตำหนิโมเสส เพราะเหตุหญิงคนเอธิโอเปียซึ่งท่านได้แต่งงานด้วยนั้น เพราะท่านได้แต่งงานกับหญิงคนเอธิโอเปียคนหนึ่ง

Aaron and Miriam Are Jealous of Moses
12:1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

12:2 และเขาทั้งสองกล่าวว่า “จริงหรือ ที่พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสทางโมเสสคนเดียวเท่านั้น พระองค์มิได้ตรัสทางเราทั้งสองด้วยหรือ” และพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงได้ยินคำพูดนั้น

12:2 And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.

12:3 (บัดนี้โมเสสเป็นคนถ่อมใจมาก ยิ่งกว่าคนทั้งหมดซึ่งอยู่บนพื้นแผ่นดินโลก)

12:3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

12:4 และพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสในทันทีแก่โมเสส และแก่อาโรน และแก่มิเรียมว่า “เจ้าทั้งสามจงออกมายังพลับพลาแห่งชุมนุมชน” และเขาทั้งสามก็ออกมา

12:4 And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.

12:5 และพระเยโฮวาห์เสด็จลงมาในเสาเมฆ และประทับยืนที่ประตูพลับพลาแห่งชุมนุมชน และทรงเรียกอาโรนกับมิเรียม และเขาทั้งสองก็ออกมาข้างหน้า

12:5 And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.

12:6 และพระองค์ตรัสว่า “บัดนี้จงฟังบรรดาถ้อยคำของเรา ถ้ามีผู้พยากรณ์อยู่ท่ามกลางพวกเจ้า เราพระเยโฮวาห์จะสำแดงตัวเราเองแก่ผู้นั้นในนิมิต และเราจะพูดกับเขาในความฝัน

12:6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.

12:7 โมเสสผู้รับใช้ของเราก็ไม่เป็นเช่นนั้น เขาสัตย์ซื่อในวงศ์วานทั้งหมดของเรา

12:7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.

12:8 เราจะพูดกับเขาปากต่อปาก คืออย่างชัดเจน และไม่ใช่ในบรรดาถ้อยคำที่มืดมน และเขาจะได้เห็นสัณฐานของพระเยโฮวาห์ ดังนั้นทำไมพวกเจ้าไม่เกรงกลัวที่จะพูดใส่ร้ายโมเสสผู้รับใช้ของเรา”

12:8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

12:9 และพระพิโรธของพระเยโฮวาห์ก็พลุ่งขึ้นต่อเขาทั้งสอง และพระองค์ก็เสด็จไปเสีย

12:9 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.

12:10 และเมฆนั้นถูกพาขึ้นไปจากพลับพลา และดูเถิด มิเรียมกลายเป็นโรคเรื้อน ขาวดุจหิมะ และอาโรนมองดูมิเรียม และดูเถิด นางเป็นโรคเรื้อน

12:10 And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.

12:11 และอาโรนกล่าวแก่โมเสสว่า “อนิจจา เจ้านายของข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าขอร้องท่าน ขออย่าวางบาปนี้บนเราทั้งสอง ที่เราทั้งสองได้กระทำอย่างโง่เขลาเช่นนี้ และที่เราทั้งสองได้ทำบาปเช่นนี้

12:11 And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.

12:12 ขออย่าให้นางเป็นเหมือนทารกที่ตายแล้ว ซึ่งเนื้อของเขาเปื่อยเน่าไปครึ่งหนึ่งแล้วเมื่อเขาออกมาจากครรภ์มารดาของเขา”

12:12 Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother's womb.

12:13 และโมเสสร้องทูลต่อพระเยโฮวาห์ โดยทูลว่า “ขอทรงรักษานางเดี๋ยวนี้เถิด โอ ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ข้าพระองค์ทูลวิงวอนต่อพระองค์”

12:13 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.

12:14 และพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “ถ้าพ่อของนางเพียงถ่มน้ำลายรดหน้านาง นางจะละอายอยู่เจ็ดวันมิใช่หรือ จงให้นางถูกกักตัวไว้นอกค่ายเจ็ดวัน และหลังจากนั้นจงให้นางถูกรับเข้ามาอีก”

12:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.

12:15 และมิเรียมจึงถูกกักตัวอยู่นอกค่ายเจ็ดวัน และประชากรก็ไม่ได้ออกเดินทางจนกว่ามิเรียมถูกนำตัวเข้ามาอีก

12:15 And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.

12:16 และภายหลังประชากรก็ย้ายจากฮาเซโรท และไปตั้งเต็นท์อยู่ในถิ่นทุรกันดารแห่งปาราน

12:16 And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.
